You are right C4K. As I stated in a post many months ago that with all the petty threads started about Obama it just seemed fair that his opponents should get equal time. Seems some do not like that very much.

When the petty stuff about Obama stops then I will stop the petty stuff about Romney.

As my Mom used to say, "What is good for the goose is good for the gander."

BTW, if your wives are being insulted by CBT report it to me personally. That will be dealt with.

C4K, I would be happy if he would simply answer the questions he is posed. He does not.

And how does it compare to talking over the British National Anthem, asking the company to slurp some juice when all, including the one the song ask God to save, stands at attention? Or perhaps such obvious antipathy to 'separation of church and state' in the UK excuses such a faux pas if it's Obama?

Start a thread on that and we can talk about it. It is off topic here.

I believe the O/Per lost his right to claim "off topic" the second he brought up Bush.

But this time, I'll play the game.

So I assume that Romney and Bush blunders are on-topic.

Is it only republicans that embarrass us ?

A bust of the former prime minister once voted the greatest Briton in history, which was loaned to George W Bush from the Government's art collection after the September 11 attacks, has now been formally handed back...But when British officials offered to let Mr Obama to hang onto the bust for a further four years, the White House said: "Thanks, but no thanks."

This was an insult to Great Britain, one of our strongest allies.

I think he was being asked the question about the Olympics as a former Olympic coordinator. I really don't see the embarrassment. Read his quote. He expressed concerns about things he had heard about some logistics in England.

Now, if he were the President, it would have been undiplomatic to bring it up, but as a former Olympic coordinator I thought it was fair game.

He didn't even bring it up.

He was asked to comment during an interview.

What a big bunch of nothing.

" Mitt Romney handed Barack Obama a priceless gift for the US presidential election campaign when the presumptive Republican nominee blundered on his first diplomatic outing by questioning whether London was capable of staging a successful Olympic Games."

I think there are many who have the same questions. Not a big gift to Obama.
