I didn't see CNN on that list or did i just miss it?
I was wondering the same thing. I couldn't find CNN either.
Can you really determine how liberal a site is by its visitors? I would call myself a conservative, but I reference liberal sites more often than conservative sites. I know what I believe, and don't feel a need to confirm that by visiting a website that agrees with me. I usually read the 'other side' to stretch my thinking and see what 'they' have to say.
I visit, for example, NPR all the time. If one goes there just to listen to a show like 'Car Talk' they count toward making the site 'liberal.'
In fact, what this may show is that 'liberals' are less inclined to visit sites that hold a different view than they do. We reach the 50/50 mark with NPR which is only a handful of sites from the left.
