As you know Brother Bob, we here in western Kentucky give the state culture and keep it in the 21st Century. For instance, I live in a 2 million dollar home, have 2 gardners, 3 maids and a butler. We have 2 RVs, three boats, and only drive Lexuses.

Of course, that being said, our yard is only of the finest quality bluegrass. Weeds are not a part of my vocabulary. Well, sorry to run but its tea time then a round of golf.

Come on Brother Bob, get with the program.

Today was going to be the day for mine. But its raining and snow rain forcasted for tomorrow.

Mine is green and growing. All the neighbors are still yellow. Must be all the compost I put in and the late fall fertalizer.

I can't imagine waiting until the end of March to mow for the first time. My grass would be a foot tall.

We mow pretty much all year round down here in the tropics.

I mowed our yard for the first time today also. It's been hot up here on the Plateau lately!
But, like Bro. Bob said, it's mostly weeds!

We have St. Augustine. It does well in hot weather, and it's been hot here since "In the beginning".

I picked up a new John Deere tractor on EBay last year and can't wait to start her up again.

The grass here hasn't started growing yet but the onion grass needs a bit of trimming.

I can't imagine letting anybody else mow my yard!
I do my best thinkin' while mowing.

I mowed mine three weeks ago...
Got the john deere out and got it ready for the season.. then mowed the back yard...

Next day, we had 7 inches of snow!

    Probably mow next week.

Looks like ours needs it's second mowing now. Sure is lush and green. Good fertilizer last fall I suspect. The south end of the house is in the shade of a huge hedge and I've got a growing:laugh: moss problem. Gotta go see Ed, the Nursery guy today.

I live full time in an RV and have nothing but sand with a few weeds. Someone else trims the weeds. Weeds will grow most anywhere.
