Below is a link to my sermon I will be preaching tomorrow.

    http://www.slideshare.net/tinytim/life-worth-living-presentation

I have 2 videos imbedded in my powerpoint...

Be sure and watch the videos linked below..

The first video in it is from here... http://wingclips.com/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16259&category_id=447

The second video is similiar to this one on Youtube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3RO6m-sqlE

I also read this, during the slide with the pictures of the holocaust...

"An elderly German man who lived through the Holocaust tells the following story:
I always considered myself a Christian. I attended a church since I was a small boy. We had heard the stories of what was happening to the Jews; but like most people in America today, we tried to distance ourselves from the reality of what was really taking place. What could anyone do to stop it?
A railroad track ran behind our small church, and each Sunday morning we would hear the whistle from a distance and then the clacking of the wheels moving over the track. We became disturbed when one Sunday we heard cries coming from the train as it passed by. We grimly realized that the train was carrying Jews.
Week after week that train whistle would blow. We would dread to hear the sound of those old wheels because we knew that the Jews would begin to cry out to us as they passed our church. It was so terribly disturbing! We could do nothing to help these poor people, yet their screams tormented us. We knew exactly at what time that whistle would blow, and we decided the only way to keep from being so disturbed by the cries was to start singing our hymns. It some of the screams reached our ears, we'd just sing a little louder until we could hear them no more.
Years have passed, and no one talks about it much any more; but I still hear that train whistle in my sleep. I can still hear them crying out for help. God forgive all of us who called ourselves Christians, yet did nothing to intervene."

I noticed a couple typos after I posted the slides, but have fixed them since..

    enjoy.

As I preach expositionally, I don't drift from the text to preach on topics or personal positions.

This is inserted in next Sunday's bulletin

    MESSAGE FROM OUR 43rd PRESIDENT

The most basic duty of government is to protect the life of the innocent. My Administration has been committed to building a culture of life by vigorously promoting adoption and parental notification laws, opposing Federal funding for abortions overseas, encouraging teen abstinence, and funding crisis pregnancy programs. In 2002, I was honored to sign into law the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which extends legal protection to children who survive an abortion attempt. I signed legislation in 2003 to ban the cruel practice of partial birth abortion, and that law represents our commitment to building a culture of life in America. Also, I was proud to sign the Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004, which allows authorities to charge a person who causes death or injury to a child in the womb with a separate offense in addition to any charges relating to the mother.

America is a caring nation and our values should guide us as we harness the gifts of science. In our zeal for new treatments and cures, we must never abandon our fundamental morals. We can achieve the great breakthroughs we all seek with reverence for the gift of life.

The sanctity of life is written in the hearts of all men and women. On this day and throughout the year, we aspire to build a society in which every child is welcome in life and protected in law. We also encourage more of our fellow Americans to join our just and noble cause. History tells us that with a cause rooted in our deepest principles and appealing to the best instincts of our citizens, we will prevail.

(Another one of President George W Bush's

    many great moments)

You can bet that this will be the last Sanctity of Life statement to come from a US president for four years, unless it's something meaningless like making abortion "safe but rare."
Even conservatives have been caught up in Bush Derangement Syndrome (BDS). I don't agree with everything that President Bush has done, but he has always done the right things about the main things. It saddened me last night to see several "Obama 2008" stickers on cars when we went to church last night. The enemy has even fooled some Christians.

There are many children alive today because of President Bush. When Obama overturns all of the pro-life work that Bush has done, maybe some will begin having doubts about Obama's character.

    STATISTICS

From 1973 to about 2008 there were an estimated 50,000,000 (50 million) abortions in the United States.
In 2008, there were roughly 1.2 million abortions in the U.S. Ten years ago there were 1.6 million. But do the math:
    1,200,000 babies killed a year
    100,000 babies killed a month
    23,076 babies killed a week
    3,296 babies killed a day
    137 babies killed an hour
    2.28 babies killed a minute

Making abortion safe but rare is something the 43rd president didn't accomplish. I hope our next president can do better.

Our next president has not hidden his intentions of supporting the murder of children in their mothers womb. All who supported him or his party with funds or votes have the blood of these innocent souls on their hands as it they murdered the babies themselves.

How very true When a Christian votes for a candidate that endorses murdering children that Christian is blinded by darkness, and cannot see light.. It is NOT ABOUT POLITICS... It is about sponsoring MURDER!

But I have doubts that Obama supporters will change their mind.. they have allowed themselves to be tricked by the father of lies.. and unless they see the light, they will never change, and will continue to sponsor Murder.

Of course, this is only the Opinion of this Christ follower, who loves Babies, and God. People might call me arrogant, judgmental, etc. But that's OK.. Christ came to give life.. we should fight for life.
