I'm running Outlook Express on Windows 98 SE. Once I started to open a file attachment & was asked what I wanted to use to open it. Not knowing what the file was, I randomly picked "EXCEL". Well, now every time I try to open a file from that sender, it ALWAYS opens in EXCEL!!
How do I nullify this selection?

open windows explorer - go to:

    tools
    folder options
    file types

then find the file extention that you want to amend and click the change button by the opens with text.
