    I will be guest speaking at my home church this weekend- Sunday Jan.2, 2011.
    I am preaching from Isaiah 1:2-4. It will be two part message with verses 2--3 during the am worship and verse 4 during pm worship

    I was wondering what message you will be preaching this weekend as we start the new year.

    I shall be speaking (DV) on Joshua 14:12. 'Now therefore, give me this mountain of which the Lord spoke.' I want to use the zeal of Caleb as an example to the older members of our church. The South Coast of Devon is the retirement capital of Britain, so we have a lot of elderly folk.

    However, I think Caleb can be an example to all Christians. Wherever we are, we should be praying, "Lord, give me this mountain" and then going out and taking it (Joshua 15:13ff).
