Barrack Obama is not now nor has he ever been eligible to hold the office of POTUS!

He does qualify as an Article II natural born citizen.

Poncho has been teetering on the edge for a long time. Looks like there is no longer any doubt that he has slipped over.

Okay what does the U.S. Constitution say exactly MP?

"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."

It's states quite clearly that "No person except a natural born citizen"

What is the definition of a "natural born citizen"? Tell me. Show me!

What is the difference between a natural born citizen and a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this constitution? Tell me. Show me!

Y'all can laugh an make fun but I'll bet none of you even have the slightest clue as to what the difference is and what difference it makes.

Grow up and act like men and make your case instead of acting like a bunch of giggling little girls. I doubt very much most of you can even act like men at this point. MP is probably the only one who can.

Less mockery and more discussion of the OP's topic would make this thread more productive.

A productive discussion is the last thing these guys want. I can make my case quite well. They know it. They've read my other threads on this subject and none of them have had the common decency to even reply.

My quess is they're to scared to discuss any real issues like this one here.

In the past they've always seemed to shy away from substance and prefer to discuss mostly inconsequential lefty vs righty nonsense that does nothing but waste time and energy. Evidently they love to be led around by the nose and be told what they can and cannot discuss by the tv talking heads who work for the mega corporations that own and control both parties.

If I were you Salty I'd remove that bit about upholding the constitution and all in your signature. It's fairly evident from your response here and elsewhere that you're more interested in defending the country from extreme liberalism than defending the U.S. Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. The law is the law. You cannot defend it by mocking those doing the job you should be doing.

Real defenders of the U.S. Constitution don't wear blinders. They take on it's enemies no matter what form they take!

Just a thought. No offence meant.

Not agreeing is one thing, but hijacking the post into a group mockery is not Christlike. Either address the OP's topic or don't post in the thread, imo.

Yeah well when faced with facts they can't counter this is what they do.

It's pretty obvious some of these guys care nothing of being Christ like.

Especially when their hero's integrity is being questioned. And most especially when he's shown to be a fraud.

One thing I've noticed about you Robert. You can shoot your mouth off just fine but you never seem able to back it up with any substance. Just more mouthing off. No wonder people here pay you no mind at all.

Tell us if you can what an Article II natural born citizen is. I bet you don't even have an inkling of idea. Use your brain as your weapon instead of your mouth for once.

If you even dare to try. Which I highly doubt you do.

C'mon now, go for it! I love putting giggly little girls like you to shame in front of everyone.

Good thing I am not here for others admiration.

I usually don't make in depth comments because someone else says them. Why should I waste my time typing when other will do it for me. Also, I don't read these lengthy responses very often, which I assume many don't also, so again, why waste my time.

My point about President Obama is valid however, so I guess my mouth shooting off is appropriate. You and I both know that this idea of him not being qualified to hold office will go nowhere, regardless of whether or not it is legitimate.

You do have a lot to say; I will give you that. However, it's mostly garbage. You sound like Dale Gribble in "King of the Hill." The government is always wrong and out to get us. After a while this old song of yours gets tiring.

    I am not laughing Poncho.

The problem is that the Constitution framers did not definitively spell out the meaning of "a natural born citizen" as related to the status of his/her parents apart from the exception clause "at the time of the adoption of this Constitution" though indeed this was probably the intent of the fathers.

So, I agree, it's therefore up to the States to clearly define the status of both parents as related to their offsping to qualify as "a natural born citizen" since such status it is not clearly defined (hobeit implied) in the Constitution.

But, no doubt, this action would force the issue to the judicial branch and we know how that would probably end.

That matter has already been to the supreme court. It upheld the definition of natural born as being born to two citizen parents. This is all in
my other thread on this subject.

I hear tell some of the states are working on this type of legislation. I'd like to see it happen myself. If nothing else maybe the truth about Obama's ineligiblity would come out when he couldn't prove he is a natural born citizen. And couldn't get on the ballot. Not that anyone would care.

But yeah your right. We already know the courts and government would continue to ignore the law and legal precedence.

Can't really expect anything else from the totally corupt and illigitimate system of governance we have now.

I honestly think the USA is ready for a dictatorship. People have been so dumbed down about our history and laws they'd welcome one with open arms right about now.

I'm sure Robert Snow would so long as the man or woman wore a big badge with a D on their shirt. That's all some folks need to see to fall into the worship mode.

Save yourself a lot of grief and put him on ignore.

Since I've put him on ignore I bet I've missed his posts about the moon landing being faked, the digital to analog TV converters having hidden cameras, jet engine exhaust is really poisonous chemtrails, and that Bush orchestrated the Twin Tower attacks.

And get ready for his whipsaw response that he recently beat me up in a 'debate' about the Federal Reserve.

OK I went outside the BB and read the law.

It's a complicated issue with more than one reason why Barack may not be a "natural citizen".
