The article says nothing about what they are going to do to help. They state their "readiness" to help. They are standing by the victims. What does that mean?

    Sounds like rhetoric to me.

They are waiting to be told how they can help. Sounds like wisdom to me.

Well, in the hope that some might speak French, below is the detail of what France is doing re: Katrina

I heard O'Reily say last night that France offered to send tents, cots, and a few other things that I don't remember.

Never said I hated the French. Nor do I ridicule them. I just keep in mind the French will be French. Her current government is following in the steps and legacy of M. le General DeGaulle.

And by the by, the French will be welcomed with open arms by the Francophone Cajuns.

Les chiens aboie... la caravane pass.

I though I found a christian forum but nothing in here is worthy of Christ. I found nothing but insults, arguements, ill will and in general mean spirited comments. I am sorry for this sade state of affaire. Au revoir C4K... you are a good man.

Agreed. I remember it was the French who gave us the Statue of Liberty. It was the French who sent troops and money during our struggle for independence at the beginning of our country.

I offer apologies to you Jean Claude. We all claim to be Brothers and Sisters in Christ, no matter what our nationality. But sometimes there is an ill-mannered sibling among us.

Info on the Statue of Liberty

"One of the many proofs of Freemasonry's cult of liberty, and furthermore of its deep influence upon our culture and mentality, is the Statue of Liberty. This colossus in New York's harbor was conceived by Freemasons, financed by Freemasons, built by Freemasons, and installed by Freemasons in a Freemasonic ceremony."

Dittos to Mike McK on the <inflammatory remark deleted - LE> but I won't withhold comment. In fact, I will be graciously grateful for their help. I truly am touched.

It will do little to change my opinion of them, but it is very nice of them.

But, C4K------Francophobe?. There are several jokes I'm tempted to respond with but am trying (very, very hard) to be magnanimous (sp?) here.

    LE,

Inflammatory? [IMG] I defer to your authority and judgement, however.
