Undoubtedly, women have troubles, also. Did you hear what happened to the lady who was as pretty as a picture? They framed her. (So be careful.)

 

If the Demos are the "official" party of abortion & homosexuals, then the Republicans are the "un-official" party of abortion & homosexuals.

No institution in America is under greater attack than the God-created, God-ordained family. Increasingly we are told by tyrannical, out of control courts, and others, that marriage is in the eye of the beholder – that marriage is whatever people want it to be.

But this is a lie.

Marriage is defined by God alone. And He HAS defined it. He says it is to be only between a man and a woman. PERIOD!

And Godly marriage does not need the approval of any civil government.

Let me here declare that I oppose homosexual marriage and civil unions, even as I oppose the hundreds of millions of dollars in subsidies which President Bush and the Democrats in Congress have supported to promote "safe sodomy" and underwrite the infrastructure of the homosexual movement.

I don't know why the CP wants to assign gays and lesbians to the GOP when they hate Bush as much as the CP does and even more. Gays and lesbians vote at least 90% Democrat as do African-Americans and Jews. A few Jews might vote for the GOP this time, but I do not see any cracks in the other two blocks.

The GOP in Indiana is running a black for the US Senate this year. I look for him to lose the black vote in Gary and Indianapolis as well as the gay and lesbian vote in Indianapolis and at Indiana University in Bloomington.

At least Lady Eagle had it correct. I hope that this does not weaken her position within the CP, which I guess is the party of white Fundamentalists.

Do you see any signs that the vast Indianapolis gay community along Massachusetts Avenue and in Broad Ripple is going to vote GOP? Or do you think that the gays and lesbians in Bloomington at Indiana University are going to vote GOP?

Gays and lesbians hate GW Bush, especially now that it seems that he is going to be fired in November 2004.

A member of the CP posted this remark, which I am trying to refute as false:

"None of them dems have a pro-homosexual appointments record like the current resident of the White House.

"The Dems have to court them back."

That is just nonsense. Lady Eagle is correct that it is the Democrats that are the party of gays. And Clinton is the most pro-homosexual President ever.

I don't think that people should sit overseas and make critical statements about the President of the USA and the American government--but I suppose that denigrating one's country makes one very popular in Europe. Politics use to end at the edge of the water, but then most of the members of the CP seem new to politics. I wonder if most of them were Democrats before they became Republicans? The CP seems to have many problems.

That is one of many southern Indiana cities that I have never been to. I am originally from the northern half of Indiana. Do you favor the new highway between Indianapolis and Evansville or do you agree with Eric Miller that the current route should just be upgraded?

I would like to see a new highway...I just hate to see people lose their land to do so.

 

Mitch Daniels, GOP gubernatorial candidate, is in favor of the new expressway. I guess he figures that it will be federal dollars paying for it.

It's my pleasure, gentlemen. Indiana is a breadbasket of the world in the fertile and beautiful Wabash River valley. Everything will grow here in Indiana that will grow in a temperate climate.

 

Unfortunately, not much decent corn in Texas. Back in Iowa, if you had a lot, you'd grow a little in back of the house, pick it just before supper, drop in in boiling water right away and eat it at once.

Every minute counts after it's picked. Then sugar content immediately starts to go to starch.

 

Yep. I put the water on to boil before I head to the garden. Some of the new genetically modified varieties convert the sugar much more slowly, but it's still best fresh.

 

They have sweet corn in the farmer's markets here, but it's such a pale imitation of the real thing, I don't buy it.
