Well, everybody has probably heard that the Obama Administration asked the Department of Justice to drop the charges against a Black Panther who openly called for the killing of "crackers" and "cracker babies".

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...ce-department-racial-bias-black-panther-case/

Isn't this a hate crime? Can you imagine what would happen to a white man who would publically preach that we should kill black people and their babies?

Here is the video of this Black Panther calling for the killings of "crackers"

I dont think Obama himself is a raciest. I looked at his families ancestry & it goes back in America to the 1600's. He's more landed gentry than most of us & the white portion contributed immensely to his rearing & his education. Now unless he hates himself.....

Neither one of use knows how to spell racist.

I saw my mistake but couldn't correct it.

I'm sorry, I do believe Obama is racist. I did not think that of him originally, but he has done several things now, like the police incident in Boston, and asking the DOJ to drop charges against this Black Panther that has convinced me.

This Black Panther is dangerous. Political speech is protected, but no one is allowed to openly call for violence and killing other people, regardless of what color they are.

Obama is a racist. No doubt whatsoever.

He has practiced race based politics his entire political career. He governs as a black man first, as a socialist second and as an American somewhere further down the scale. I'm not sure it's even in third place.

    Hi Winman,

I would say that the correct word is "elitist" .

    Our president is an elitist.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elitism

Combine that with what I believe to be his secular humanist philosopy and IMO you have an accurate profile of our president.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secular_humanism

Again, this is my opinion of course.

This is what this situation appears to be on the surface.

On the other hand, since we don't really know the motive, it might be one of political expediency.

Yes, I have thought of that, Obama doesn't want to offend African Americans.

But that brings up another issue, are most African Americans racist? I don't believe so. There are always those that are extreme no matter what color their skin, but I believe the vast majority of black folks would absolutely reject this hate speech by this Black Panther. And I believe it would also concern them that the Obama administration pushed the DOJ to drop these charges.

    What a silly claim!

I guess President Obama hates his mother. Remember she was white.

Don't know if he's racist or not.

    But he hires racists.

Eric Holder, our Attorney General, is a flaming racist. Remember...he let the Black Panthers go, even though we had their voter intimidation on tape.

Holder doesn't draw breath without Obama's approval.

If using "race based politics" makes President Obama a racist, then I would guess that most of the politicians, Democrats and Republicans, in D.C. are racists. Race politics is used all the time in both direct and indirect ways. I don't know why the President and his administration pulled back from the "NEW" Black Panther's case. I don't know that is was race related or race based politics. So I can't say it is an example of race based politics. However President Obama certainly uses race in politics. That however is very different from being a racist. Do I think President Obama is a racist? No. After all, his mother was white and most of his staff is white. Do I think Obama hates white people, as the New Black Panther guy does? No.

We have got to get away from this dirty mudslinging in American politics. I know it is nothing new, but our country would be far better off if we focused on the issues and stopped trying to demonize our political opponents. Both Democrats and Republicans play these games and, to be honest, I am sick of both parties and want nothing to do with any of them.

Btw, I believe the Obama administration is wrong for not pursuing charges against these men from the New Black Panthers. However that does not mean that Obama is a racist.

I do not think Obama is a racist. I do think he is an anti-Constitutional socialist liberal that has an agenda of dumbing down individual pride and accomplishment. He also has an agenda of transfering power, liberty and freedom from the people and states to the federal government.

Sure you do. One of these days maybe you'll admit it to yourself.

However, Holder has engaged in actions that have endangered our country and its citizenry, as well as illegal, unconscionable, and stupid decisions. And, he's a racist to boot.

Yet he still has a job.

Is it really so speculative to assume he has Obama's approval?

I don't think this is the case at all.

    Yes, it's still speculative.

It would be speculative to assume he doesn't. Or maybe just plain stupidity.

Well, you have your right to an opinion...and I have my right to an opinion supported by facts and personal research.

I must admit, even though I knew you would defend Holder, I always find it sad when someone simply refuses, under any circumstances, to hold someone responsible for their actions--simply because of the suffix behind their name.

Among Holder's long list of stupid, dangerous, and borderline treasonous actions:

    • Holder withheld information, on purpose, from Congress during his confirmation. (Lying during an interview...heckuva way to start a job. But when you're in government, it's not a big deal).
    • Trying to prosecute Bush's folks (opposed by seven former CIA directors).
    • His butchering of the underwear bomber case (mirandizing the guy after 50 minutes was idiotic--and we're lucky we ended up with any intel from this goon).
    • The desire to prosecute Khalid Sheik Muhammad in a civilian trial. IMO, if this goes through, and Americans are killed because of it, Holder should be tried for treason, and given the maximum penalty.
    • Holder withheld info from Congress during his confirmation about his opposition to military trials for terrorists. This just might get his sorry tail fired (if we're lucky).
    • Holder's referring to Americans as a "nation of cowards" because we don't agree with him on all matters racial (racist?).
    • Holder's refusal to admit that Islam has a role in the latest domestic terror attack.
    • Holder's refusal to admit that the recent Fort Hood shootings were Islamic-terror related (for cryin' out loud, the animal that was killing folks was shouting "Allahu Akbar!" as he did it...but Holder doesn't want that discussed).
    • His scary push to extend hate crimes legislation to cover sexual orientation--so much that it criminalizes people speaking against homosexuality in a religious setting.
    • Suing a state for enforcing a law that the feds are supposed to enforce...but don't.
    • Going on record as opposing the Arizona bill--before he ever read it.
    • Refusal to prosecute Black Panther thugs for voter intimidation. In fact, there may be systemic instances of this going on, and systemic ignoring of such by Holder.
    • While turning a blind eye to the black panther cretins, Holder is now saying he's going to investigate the Oakland, CA shooting of a black man by a white transit officer. Never mind that the court just handled things...according to the rule of law. When the victim is white and the perp is black...Holder is nowhere to be found. Reverse those conditions, and this guy has a fit.
    • There's more...but if I put too much, no one will read this.
Face it: Eric Holder is likely the most corrupt, and evil, of Obama's bunch. And that's saying a bunch. To ignore all this indicates a complete break with reality.

So, Robert...you offered a one-line opinion, with no justification--and I offer an opinion supported by a page of facts. Wonder which one is more thought-out?

I don't know. I can speculate, I can give my opinion, but I don't know. There is a difference.
