    EXCERPT

"We ended up launching a war that should have never been authorized, and should have never been waged, and on which we've now spent $400 billion, and have seen over 3,000 lives of the bravest young Americans wasted."

    Open mouth,
    Insert foot!

He is going to have to watch those things. Mistakes like that can cost him the election.

However I don't think what Obama said about our soldiers is as bad as what Bush has done to/with our soldiers...:tear:

We have lost way too many great men/women in Iraq. It is sad, very sad indeed. While I don't agree with Bush's poorly managed war in Iraq I certainly don't believe any of these fine young men/women have died in vain, nor do I believe their lives were wasted. They died serving their country, there is nothing wasted about that (Jn 15:13). For a perfectly good example of what I mean click here. This young man was a graduate of Liberty University and a student at Southern Evangelical Seminary and, from all accounts, a godly Christian young man.

Liberals just can't seem to help themselves. :BangHead: Obama is no different. And he's supposed to be pretty bright.

He has apologized numerous times , but words once spoken cannot be erased.

His true feelings have been revealed and he is truly sorry about that.

Just guessing, but the ratio of German to Polish deaths might have approximated the ratio of American to Iraqui deaths. I'm sure the German families grieved the deaths of their patroitic and heroic soldiers.

His latest blow against the troops is in his new budget. Again, he wants Congress to break the promises made to our fighting men and women, by removing more medical benefits.

The proposed fee increases would affect about 3.1 million military retirees nationwide. Annual enrollment fees for TRICARE Prime, the managed care program, currently are $230 for an enlisted retiree or retired officer and $460 for a family. Under the proposal, the fees would increase to $325 for a junior enlisted retiree and $650 for a family; $475 for a senior enlisted retiree and $950 for a family; and $700 for a retired officer and $1,400 for a family. In addition, under the proposal, copays in the TRICARE retail pharmacy network would increase to $5 from $3 for generic medication and to $15 from $9 for brand-name treatments (Kaiser Daily Health Policy Report, 2/14).

These people signed on to a dangerous and poorly-paid job, with the promise that they would be provided medical care in their retirement years.

He treats them like this, because every one of them who served honorably and well is a reminder that when his country called, he disappeared. They are, every one of them, a living rebuke to his lack of moral fiber.

Those who howl in indignation at Obama's statement will continue to support Bush as he tries every way he can to take money from our troops. Because... well, you know.

    Brother,

You have guts knowing that liberals will attack the truth.

They always defame the lives of those that have died for the freedom that they are afraid to live with honor.

    God bless you!

==I have heard this said about other people, and I am sure I have said it before about different people, but I think it applies to my feelings about Bush. I certainly do not want to be near him in the final judgment, he has alot to answer for. To those whom much is given, much is required.
