I fear that I would end up in prison should something like this happen to my daughter. There are so many cars and drivers on the roads today - far more than when I was learning to drive. My daughter can start drivers ed at 14 1/2 in North Carolina. She can get a permit at 15 and a license at 16, but there's no way she will have the experience she's going to need by then. I've got almost 40 years of experience and some days I'm glad to get home alive.

Truck drivers aren't trained as professionally as they once were. To make matters worse, there's always those unlicensed, uninsured, illegal aliens who can't read English. Add to that all the drunk drivers and cell phone users and our roads are a death-trap.
