Metro Prayer for April 3, 2009

Continue to pray for the City of Omaha Primary Election (April 7) where voters will decide who will run in the general election for mayor and the city council. Pray for good weather and a good turn out. Ask that the Lord would give us wisdom and discernment as we vote.

COL 4:2 Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

As Christians celebrate Easter, our Jewish friends will be observing Passover starting Thursday, the 9th of April and will continue for 7 days until Wednesday, the 15th of April.

Passover is the religious festival that celebrates the deliverance of Israel from the bondage of the Egyptians.

The Jews marked their doors with the blood of a sacrificed lamb so that the Angel of Death would know to protect their firstborn sons.

Pray that God would bring revelation knowledge of the cleansing power of the blood of the Lamb and that God loves them very much.

I Co 5:7 “…for Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.”

    billiefan2000 side prayer to this:

    :praying: for Omaha rabbis

Mendel Katzman and Jonathan Gross and Mordechai Levin all come to know YESHUA aka JESUS in their lives

also :praying: for the salvation of Beth Katz of Project Interfaith

:praying:that Rabbi Aryeh Azriel of the Tri-Faith Initiative

which is 2 Omaha area groups that promotes Inter-faithism and universalism

comes to know YESHUA aka JESUS in his life ALSO

and :praying: both realize this universalism stuff is a lie

Pray that the Lord’s compassionate heart for the poor might be properly expressed through the Metro area churches; with wisdom, discernment and generosity.

Psalm 72:13—He will have compassion on the poor and needy, and the lives of the needy he will save.
