Yes indeed.Opinions have really changed on translational issues on the BB over the course of time.I'll itemize the alteration over the years.

    TCGreek

9/13/07 : Personally,I use the NASB as my first choice.
1/12/08 : The NASB95 remains my primary Bible, despite its weaknesses.
1/21/08 : The NASU will continue to be my primary Bible.
1/31/08 : The TNIV is my primary text these days.
    8/8/08 : I preach from the TNIV.

    TC

3/24/04 : I haven't read any of the TNIV yet. Thanks for stopping me for wasting my time.
2/7/05 : I will not be buying it [TNIV] in any fashion.
    6/11/07 : I just purchased a TNIV today.
6/29/07 : I now use the TNIV also.

    MCDirector

5/29/07 : I use the NASB.But I'm using the ESV off and on.
    8/15/07 : I'm a NASB gal.
12/5/08 : I ...got one of the 8 TNIVs they had.
2/1/09 : Recently I got a TNIV...I'm working my way through it and I like it,but I still pick up the NASB when I need to find something.

Bitsy's a work in progress. However, she has made a TNIV part of her signature line.

    TinyTim

Aw,I'll just cut to the chase with Tiny.

1/28/09 : Thanks to TC[Greek] I am loving my TNIV.

    GoToChurch

He was a pioneer with respect to this translation. He's one man who has not changed his postion regarding this version.

9/2/02 : The TNIV is going to bless people, change lives and be used to spread the kingdom of God.
5/21/03 : I use the TNIV and rather like it.

    An Interesting History

    Keith M

12/19/02 : As for the TNIV,I haven't read enough to form a definite opinion...
5/23/03 : I have been impressed with the HCSB.
3/27/04 : ...look forward to picking up a copy [of the HCSB].
5/28/04 : I'll probably purchase the HCSB soon.
1/29/05 : Just a little TOO liberal for me! [TNIV]
3/5/05 : I think the best change for the TNIV would be to change it from paper to ashes.
4/23/05 : I have found nothing wrong with the HCSB,and in fact would recommend it over the NIV.
4/15/05&5/9/05 : I tend to avoid it [TNIV] like the plague.
5/10/05 : The TNIV is much worse than the NIV ever was!
12/18/05 : The NLT I do not consider to be a viable Bible version.
7/7/06 : I do not own a copy of the TNIV.
7/12/06 : I don't think anyone should belittle your choice of Bible versions.
7/24/06 : The TNIV needs to be thrown on the trash pile. That's the only place fit for the TNIV.
7/31/06 : I have not read as much of the HCSB as I would like to have read but I think I prefer it to the NIV.
8/21/06 : Why would I be interested in the vastly inferior TNIV?
1/25/07 : I haven't used the HCSB extensively ...It is far superior to the NIV family.
    6/1/07 : I have no intention of using it[TNIV].
    6/27/07 : I don't like the NIV.
7/4/07 : I also like to use the HCSB.
    7/13/07 : The Message,although it's a paraphrase IS a Bible,and it is the word of God.
7/21/07 : How can any Bible versions responsible for leading so many people to a saving faith in Jesus Christ be considered inferior?
9/17/07 : I have not read the HCSB or TNIV.
2/6/09 : Isn't it great that God has graciously supplied us the various translations?Your preference is the TNIV,mine is the NKJV ...

But you do appreciate and use other versions from time to time.

All the time, mate,,all the time. Even my old kjv doesn't resemble a kjv with all my corrections and notations.........

    I guess that says something.

    Cheers, keep contributing,

I might even make pastor some day.

    Jim

12/1/08 : Of those three,I now prefer the TNIV,and the ESV is my least favored.

2/6/09 : God is using the TNIV.If it's good enough for God,it's good enough for me.
