Why do you think that the bible doesnt apply in politics?

If you are a christian, the bible is supposed to apply to EVERYTHING you do.

Wait just a second.

Are you saying that just because the word "abortion" is not specifically spelled out in the bible that the scripture against murder and respecting life that God created doesnt apply to unborn babies? HUh?

And, doesnt it stand to reason that if the bible says that homosexuality is an abomination that marriage of gays would fall under that same scripture? Can you honestly believe that God would want us to support gay marriage when His word says that homosexuality is an abomination? That is ridiculous.

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

This pretty well covers the political issues of abortion and homosexuality - there is nothing new under the sun, Rome or 2008 Democratic Party.
