    Well, I am not trying to be unjust here, but I am having a hard time believing that this really happened. It is so incredibly sick and evil. Just when I think that I have heard it all, it gets worse.

    So, tell me if I am wrong here.

    Couldn't there be a medical reason or an accidental reason why there was some tearing of the baby's skin. Maybe somebody handling it didn't have their fingernails cut properly or something?

    I am just having a very difficult time grasping the reality of this.

    It's all too sick. It makes me just want to scream.

    A one day old baby being raped is hard to believe but a lot sick people are out there. I cannot form a conclusion as to whether the parents are responsible or not afterall it could be as Scarlett surmises that it could have been something other than a rape that occured here. I think it is too soon to jump to the conclusion without further investigation.

    From my home town Newpaper.....I read it this a.m. at home. Very disguisting. They need no more children....in my opinion they should be surgically fixed so that won't be a problem. And, a lifetime in prison would be wonderful for both of them. Child molesters are low on the totem pole in prison....
    This poor child....I hate it.

    Im with Scarlett here. But maybe we just can't accept it mentally so we are grasping at any thing to make it impossible? But I have to wonder if a child that age would survive such an attack.

    The story has actually made me feel ill........

    I can't read the link--too horrible! I pray for this innocent child if it's true. What a terrible way to start life!

    My mind just can't grasp the sickness of someone who would do this...

    My initial disbelief did not come from not believing that this sort of thing happens. I know that it does. I have worked with children for 23 years and could tell you-all things that would make you vomit.

    The original article wasn't specific enough to tell me if it were just "scratches" that could have been formed accidentally.

    But this article today confirms the worst. If you don't want to read it, it does say that the injuries are substantial enough to have been formed unnaturally and with an object.

    My first thought is hearty agreement with Joseph to simply execute them, but child molesters are the lowest form of life, even in prison, and there will be a certain "jailhouse justice" exacted.
