A federal Park Service Ranger admitted being ordered to make life as difficult as possible in order to make Americans feel the most pain as a result of the partial government shutdown brought about by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's refusal to work with Republicans on a plan to fund the government while not funding or delaying parts of Obamacare, the Washington Times reported Thursday.

“We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can," an angry Park Ranger told the Times. "It’s disgusting.”

According to the Times, the Park Service has been shutting down streets "on mere whim and caprice."

Rangers closed the parking lot at Mount Vernon, the plantation home of George Washington, even though the park is privately owned by the Mount Vernon Ladies' Association.

The Times said the parking lot is jointly owned with the Association, but a Ranger said closing the lot was simply "a cheap way to deal with the situation."

It's amazing the fear people have of obama in that they won't stand up to his bully tactics.

Consider Dr. Ben Carson. He stood up against obama at the Prayer Breakfast and has since been targeted by the IRS. More bullying from the tyrant in the wh.

This story as presented is nothing more than hearsay unless he's telling us WHO told him to do so and some corroborating evidence from another witness or a paper/email trail or something.

Otherwise, this could be viewed as just another partisan rant designed to make one side look worse than the other.

Journalists used to care about making sure such simple things were mentioned in their stories to at least try to make them look authentic.

But the folks at Examiner. com do tend to be less journalistic and more blog. Thus you get a lot of hearsay designed to elicit views as the bloggers get payed by the PAGE VIEWS.

So STOP giving us links to Examiner. com.

The Great Pretender is not just bully. He is a dictator of the worst sort. While I have been calling him a "Socialist," and continue to stand by that label, I am beginning to wonder if there isn't something more insidious at work here. He is more than a mere socialist, he is also a Fascist.

Typically, that is seen as a right-wing disease. But back in the 1920s when fascism was a new political development, it was widely — and correctly — regarded as being on the political left. Jonah Goldberg’s great book Liberal Fascism cites overwhelming evidence of the fascists’ consistent pursuit of the goals of the Left, and of the Left’s embrace of the fascists during the 1920s.

Mussolini, the originator of fascism, was lionized by the Left, both in Europe and in America, during the 1920s. Even Hitler, who adopted fascist ideas in the 1920s, was seen by some, including W. E. B. Du Bois, as a man of the Left.

What socialism, fascism, and other ideologies of the Left have in common is an assumption that some very wise people — like themselves — need to take decisions out of the hands of lesser people, i.e., the rest of us, and impose those decisions by government fiat.

The vision of those of the Left is not only a vision of the world, but also a vision of themselves as superior beings pursuing superior ends. In the United States, however, this vision conflicts with a Constitution that begins, “We, the People . . . ”

That is why the Left has for more than a century been trying to get the Constitution’s limitations on government loosened or evaded by judges’ new interpretations, based on notions of “a living Constitution” that will take decisions out of the hands of “We, the People,” and transfer those decisions to our betters.

Like Dictator (I still cannot and will not type or say his name) the Great Pretender.

Honestly, what does this story have to do with Obama and his bully tactics? Is he the unnamed official who told them to do this?

You're really that blind? Or is it because the evidence is so clear you loathe it and wish to diminish truth yet again?

    Are you really that biased?

What evidence? If you've got it , present it. Otherwise this is nothing more than another partisan rant from a bunch of folks mad that the man won an election.

So if you've got evidence that he's telling his folks to tell park rangers to make life difficult, present it. The folks in the blog surely didn't.

He may well have done such a thing. I wouldn't put it past him. But it certainly ain't mentioned in the evidence of this blog.

Just a bunch of hearsay designed to get page views and make folks money.

Not at all, I just happen to know the evidence of the Carson case, the IRS cases, tattletale websites set up to report persons behaviors about obama &c and it's simple to see that bullying is in fact happening and it is easy to make the link, unless of course one is biased as yourself and refuses to look at clear evidence.

I hope you're not replying to the BB on an 'Obamaphone'. :love2:

Has nothing to do with park rangers.

HAs nothing to do with park rangers.

Hearsay and nothing to do with park rangers

What it's easy to do is make the link that you got an axe to grind against a President you obviously don't like. And thus are willing to accept whatever anyone has to say that's negative about him as the truth because of something in your own heart about this man.

I hope you're not replying from Prejudiceville. It truly is shameful the animosity Christians keep expressing against this man.

It would be different if some official had said we were told by the Obama administration to do this. But nobody said any such thing. Yet you and others just unrighteously jump to that because you don't like the man.

Your bully behavior to manipulate and present information as the truth that you have no idea whether it's truthful or not is no different than false teachers of the Gospel.

All because you wanted another President. More of the same continuous shameful behavior coming out of the very ones God has called to set an example of righteous judgment.

    Who cares?

That and you miss the point -- obama is a bully and has bullied others through other offices &c. That's the point and the OP is simply providing more evidence of this fact.

Apparently neither you nor a lot of other folks, who are still looking for ways to always vilify this man, care about the truth because you're still mad he won an election and don't give a flying hoot if what you're saying about him is correct as long it makes him look like what you want him to be.

You missed the point. The point is that there is nothing in that thread that says Obama told them to give anybody a hard time. You just assign it to him because you want to vilify somebody you don't like.

Has nothing to do with the story. You've told lies before too. Does that mean you're doing so now?

And all you've got is a he said she said about him bullying through other offices. I'm not saying that he hasn't. But you're just repeating gossip from partisan folks with an axe to grind right beside the one you're trying to grind.

And my point is that you're unrighteously judging that man because of gossip that you've heard in the past and gossip you're hearing now.

The OP didn't provide a factual anything. It's a bunch of hearsay on a blog website that you apparently accept as factual journalism.

But that tends to further highlight the prejudice that you're bringing to the table.

Very unGodly behavior that's become the status quo for a lot of folks in the church who are mad that the man won an election.

The Media OFTEN oftne uses unnamed sources.
And I'm sure the indidvual who spoke up was fearful of loosing his job. Thus the reason for not being named.
It has been said that the WH will often allow leaks for various reason.

Subterfuge, deflection, lies. You're acting exactly like his administration, denying he's doing anything to hinder a decision on the budget and the ACA, when clearly nothing happens in the executive branch without the chief executive setting the tone and standard for action. Your pretended naivete is disingenuous. Perhaps you should apply for a job with the White House.

The media often submits gossip as news.

This is ludicrous. No White House official called a specific park ranger and told him to make things difficult for folks. I would suspect that this was the decision of someone, who happens to be pro-Democrat, and in a position of authority over a park ranger .

The park ranger didn't mention anything of the White House. That's just the connection folks want to make because they don't like the current President.

And fearful of losing his job from whom? Are we supposed to believe anything folks say without any validation of what they're saying just because they say they fear losing their jobs?

This is a blog that's posting hearsay gossip. And now folks with an agenda are trying to tie it to White house bullying.

Just all around manipulative and dishonest and doesn't deserve to be called journalism cause they are just trying to get page views.

A lot of things have been said and I've yet to see an iota of evidence that says the directive came from someone in the White House. The park ranger doesn't even mention the White House.

Hey bro, it's like it says in 2 Peter 3:5...'deliberate ignorance'...and that is exactly what is happening with him.

Either he is doing the above or he is in another thread or another place comparing how much more spiritual he is than others.

And you're acting like someone who is very angry about this man and are okay with any story that anybody will try to attach to him and his administration.

The park ranger ain't said nothing about the White House.

What does this story have to do with the budget and the ACA? We're talking about a park ranger saying that he was told to make life difficult.

I'm sure the President is hindering decisions on the budget as long as they are tied to the ACA just as his opponents are hindering decisions on the budget unless they are tied to the ACA.

So what's he doing that the Republicans aren't doing?

Gosh, ain't nothing about me naive. I just see the hypocrisy and unrighteousness in what yall trying to do. Perhaps you should apply for a job with the RNC?

That's right. Go ahead and get your wickedness aligned. Don't try to place the wickedness that results out of your prejudice against this man on me.

So go ahead and gather those who tell you what your itching ears want to hear.

The behavior of the lot of you continues to be straight wicked and unChristlike and perhaps that's why God keeps allowing you to get more of the very things you complain of.

You're right. I am angry. I'm angry about a man who is out to fundamentally change the way this country has worked for 223 years, and no, I will not tolerate that change, nor will I accept or respect the man who attempts to undermine our Constitution by regularly ignoring it as though it is not there. Yes, I will be OK with any and all efforts to bring the truth before the public, to show them the man is not a benign pro-American politician, but dedicated to turn the U.S. into Europe. Europe doesn't work. The U.S. does. Hands off!

Yet again, you obviously choose to be naive about where the directives for such actions originate. Willing naivete is the same thing as "plausible deniability" ... both are nice ways to dress up the concept of lying.

You know the answer to that. You wouldn't ask the question if you didn't already know the answer. What you want to do is deny the answer and be a shill for the Great Pretender.

Other than trying to destroy this system of government, the Constitution, and the free enterprise system? Absolutely nothing.

Yeah, I know. You are completely aware of what is going on, and see no problem with it. That makes you a co-conspirator in destruction of the U.S. I

And that type of anger festering in your heart needs to be placed at the foot of the Cross. But you seem to be content with harboring that type of anger rather than glorifying Christ due to borderline idolatrous behavior.

Again straight shameful. But it is the same type of anger displayed by many in the church who want to present this type of wickedness born out of anger as some sort of Godly desire to save the country.

It made you vote for a man who was 100% against Christ and now it has you not caring what efforts are used to defame this man as long as you think it's truthful. Doesn't seem to matter to you or many if there's no evidence tying anything to him, you just unrighteously judge it to be so because of your anger.

    Shameful.

Then how about you present the evidence? If it originated with the President and you've got the information, present it. Otherwise you're just presenting as truth what you need to be the truth because it "justifies" your anger and beliefs about that man.

And you want to attach anything you can to that man, true or not, because you're angry ad feel like he's destroying YOUR country.

More partisan blindness born out of your unrighteous anger.

With the continued displays of wickedness coming from you and other angry Christians like you coupled with the wickedness from the unsaved world, you're absolutely correct. I see no problem with it and pray that it hastens the return of Jesus Christ so that the lot of you can get past your anger centered around holding onto this world.
