Pay attention to what God is up to. We need to speak our mind and advocate for the candidates which we believe align themselves with the values of Jesus Christ, and this keeping in mind our own judgment to come which we must give an answer for the deeds done while in the body.

But do not let God get removed from the equation. Obama was given 8 years by God, Why? George Bush was given 8 years by God. Why? How does whom God puts in charge advance God's plan for the world and God's timeline for the events God prophesied must take place. The candidate you may want to win may loose. Will this upset you? Or will you say even so Lord I trust your decision.

I believe this is key. We have a lot of folks right now who are angry because of 8 years of Obama. That anger caused evangelicals to collectively support a man who rejected Christ in 2012 and to support a crazed, narcissistic racist who reflects nothing of the character of Christ in 2016.

Again because folks are angry about 8 years of Obama and figure that if the party of choice doesn't win this time, then they may not for a while.

It's one thing to "say" even so Lord I trust your decision. It's another to live that out and not support those candidates who are against Christ.

I just don't see what you are seeing there brother. I don't think Trump is a born-again Christian, but i don't see what you say he is either. The racist tag is the most strange. Wanting a secure border and a ban on Muslims entering without a strong vetting is not racist. I think you are misapplying the term as does the democrats all the time.

If you cannot see his racism, his sexism, his hatred for others, his lack of any Christian morality, then there is nothing that anyone can say that would convince you.

This 'I am for Trump regardless of anything he says, does or believes' is most dangerous to our society and country.

That's the scary part. The line between Democrat and Republican are blurred. For decades the Democrat Party has held as it's party platform the sins of Romans 1, they were known for immorality. But now the lines are blurring to the point that many really do not believe they have a good choice. I think that perhaps it's a decline in our nation, reflective of a steady move away from godly principles, which simply started with the Democrat Party and has moved on from there. Pretty soon I think that there will be no choice for believers except they position themselves as enemies of God in the public square.

So you all have no problems with illegals coming into this country -
or even supposedly legal individual - of whom we are unaware of their potential destructive motives?

Lets put this in Simple terms -
Many years ago, I was stationed at Wildflecken Training Area ( about 15 miles from the old East German Border) - which was out in the middle of nowwhere. One Friday night - a German female was stabbed by a GI. A witness told the polize that the attacker was a Black solider . Early Sat morning, the post commander requested that all Black GI's come to Post HQ for ID purposes.

Would you consider this to be a racist order - ie illegal?

First consider the definition of racist:
    1. a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another:
The Commander was NOT racist - he simply made an order based on facts.

Likewise - virtually all individuals coming into the US -from the Southern Border are from Latino counties of Central America, (including Mexico)

Stopping these illegal entries is NOT racist - as it is not that we think we are better than them - rather its a matter of controlled immigration. (not to mention that Latino is not a race)

All I have to say is that each of us has to ultimately answer to God and not to anyone here at the BB (unless of course they break the rules in their posting habits).

I can't see how a racist would have Hispanic and Black folks supporting him. Maybe yo could explain this.

Very few are supporting him. In any group of any size you will find some are any side of an issue. No surprise there. Trump is very good at playing one group off on another. You never find unanimity in a group. If you do not believe me then visit a Baptist Church.

No, we are talking about racism, not differing opinions of an issue. you lay the charge of him being a racist. This has nothing to do about issues. So tell me how many black and hispanic friends does a white man have to have before he is not a racist in your world?

Let me try to explain this. During the Civil War there were plantation slaves who wouldn't leave even though they were freed. They stayed and helped fight the folks who were coming to free them.

You will ALWAYS have individuals who feel like things are better with the slave owner.

Look repeatedly at the black folks who are supporting him that you see on tv. The majority have been connected to his tv show.

He has 1% or less of black support because he's aligned with white supremacists, the KKK and white nationalists.

And just like a lot of white people pretend like there is nothing wrong with the policing in this country, there are Blacks who aren't gonna recognize the man's racism and racial prejudice for what it is because 1) He gave them a check at some point and 2) they don't care that he's a bigot as long as the checks are good.

The term "friend" is relative. David Dukes has talked about the black friends he used to have.

It isn't about how a person feels about his friends. It is about his attitude toward an entire race.

Let me relate a story. I worked with a fellow who grew up in the Deep South. We were discussing race. He hated the Black race, but at the same time made the comment, "I loved my black mamma more than my real one." Loving that woman more than his real, biological mother did not negate his racism.

Exactly. There are so many stories out there just like that. The "loved" those ladies who raised their kids or who took care of them better than their mamas. But they were still clearly racists.

I gotta tell you guys, from you guys comments, it sounds like you two have a problem with a white man reaching out to the black community to actually help them. Now isn't that a sign of racism on display? For the first time in the past 60 years we have a candidate (from either party) actually addressing the black communities situation and we have some folks that hate that. Now why is that? The only thing I can think of is that these folks don't want to see the blacks helped! Now who are these folks? Are they white? Something isn't right about this conversation......

There is NO black or white only one bloodline.

    Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Agreed. Even if we harbor prejudice we should acknowledge it before God and then obey to provide the needy with the things they need.

1 John 3:17 But whoever has this world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

What it sounds like is that yall are so desperate to win this election that you think everybody else has to be blind to the man's blatant racism and racial prejudice.

If he's offering the type of help that the GOP has "offered" the last 50 years, I'm sure they'd just assume he keep it.

Again, yall must really think folks are stupid. He's pandering. Hillary has pandered. But he's pandering on top of his blatant racism and racial prejudice and thinks it's gonna attractive. Some of you have gotten so comfortable in hypocrisy that you think everybody else is gonna overlook it too and support your candidate.

I've said several times before, you can't spit in somebody's face and then think they have to believe you when you say I love you.

I'll tell them to log your fake concern in their weekly meeting notes.

I know for sure that black folks collectively are smart enough to see through what you're trying to do. It's sadly funny. And as transparently attemptively manipulative as someone who used to post under another name lol.

You are hilarious. If he REALLY wants to help the black community, tell him to push for the police to stop murdering unarmed Blacks. Push for the indictment of the murderers and a national change in policing policies that sends white people to jail too.

So line the white men up to help with THAT and they might listen to ya.:)
