    It appears to me that they stretched to the breaking point, trying to get this guy associated with terrorists somehow.

    What's the bottom line? This is America, and there can be no official preferences for relgion. So, if the Army has chaplains, then every faith can have them, and must.

    It's a tough deal. People need to have access to their religious leaders, and sometimes the military takes you where it's hard to do that. So we need chaplains. But one religion doesn't have precedence over others. All people of faith have to be equally served, if we do it at all.

    I agree up to the point of agreeing that Islam is a religion that can be accomodated. It can not, but of course is.
