A rather dishonest attempt to further smear Perry without foundation. After that in the same a article he goes on to say:

Sure he will. He as been governor for a long time and never used the national guard for that so why believe he will do it in the future?

"We do not have the resources or the manpower to secure the border the way it needs to be," Perry said during an April 15 interview with the online Texas Tribune and Newsweek magazine. "We've got a 1,000 National Guard troop request that's been in front of this president for over a year and no response" - Gov Perry in 2009

That is just another excuse that he uses to side step his responsibility.
Under the U.S. Constitution, each state's National Guard unit is controlled by the governor in time of peace but can be called up for federal duty by the president.

Yes that is true. But at one time or another all border state governors have asked for federal authorization so that Uncle Sam would foot the NG bill. The reasoning being that border control is a national problem and not something to be paid for by individual states. Napolitano asked for the same thing when she was Arizona governor, so has Jan Brewer.

So! That does not excuse Governor Perry for not calling them out or having them arrested if already here.

    And YOU Would Know...

The fact that you live in Texas makes you an expert on Perry and his record.

Thanks for letting us know what a fantastic politician Perry has become. According to you, Perry has done a good job at spinning his view of immigaration, and deceiving the general population, he is the perfect candidtate to run for POTUS.
