Please pray as one of our deacons is losing his battle with cancer.

    George is a dear man who has fought cancer twice already, being told each time he was going to die. He was one of the first successful bone marrow transplants in this country years ago. It is looking like he is going to lose his battle with leukemia today. Please pray for George that his homegoing is peaceful and that God will comfort his wife of 34 years Cindy. She is involved in our deaf ministry (she actually founded it) and he is one of our deacons so they are close family in our church. They have 5 grown children.

    Dear Heavenly Father,we pray that you will be this precious family who have
    been with their husband and father during his bout with cancer and cancer
    again. May You comfort and help them through this time. In Jesus' Name

    George has made it 24 hours since they said he has hours left. He was surrounded by family and friends yesterday afternoon while they all worshipped, prayed and read Scripture in George's room. I was told last night that it was such a blessed time and while George can't speak, he said "Thank you" in a very small whisper when the pastors and friends left last night.

    Keep praying for peace and comfort during this time. So many will be affected by George's death because he touched so many hearts.

    What a precious time for this family and friends of George's!
    We continue to pray to You Who gives us Your peace,love, comfort and
    understanding to all who will saddened at the lost of their loved one! We thank
    you,Lord that He is a child of yours and he is in Good Hands we pray this
    in Jesus' Name. Amen.
