ew poll shows that more Democrats were reluctant to vote for Hillary Clinton then Republicans were about voting for Donald Trump.

The Washington Post reports that a George Washington University (GWU) Battleground Poll revealed that 24 percent of those who voted for Clinton described themselves as "reluctant" to do so. Only 20 percent of Trump's voters said that about the real estate mogul. There were also 75 percent of Clinton voters who described their vote as "definite," while 79 percent said the same for Trump.

The Post notes that this result is incongruent with exit polls showing that Clinton voters tended to be more "enthusiastic" about their candidate than Trump voters. Fifty-three percent of voters that "strongly favored their candidate" supported Clinton while only 41 percent supported Trump. On the other hand, Trump won 50 percent of voters that said their vote was based on dislike for the other candidates, while only 39 percent said that for Clinton.
