I really wanted to add this poll to my previous post but the board was acting up. Mods please feel free to combine if possible or delete the other, thanks!

I really think he should have waited for Halloween for this propaganda infomercial.

    Quote:

Barack Obama will go on national television tonight and air a 30-minute infomercial about himself and his presidential campaign.
Several political image makers, both Republicans and Democrats, say it’s a smart move. But is there a risk of excess in it, as well?
While Obama hasn’t made many strategic mistakes in his campaign against Republican John McCain, he has, on occasion, shown a weakness for extravagance.
In July, Obama’s visits to Afghanistan and Iraq generated comforting images of the senator with military leaders and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. But his trip ended in Berlin with an image of 200,000 fans, mostly Europeans, chanting Obama’s name.

I will peek in just out of curiosity. However, I have better things to do than to listen to 30 more minutes of his vagaries. I'd rather do something constructive, like watch the World Series

I also have to fill out my benefits plan for work for next year and will do so sadly, knowing that both major party candidates will do their dead-level best to raid them for me and I likely won't see the same available next year thanks to the winner.

It's a good thing for Obama that it's OK for politicians to lie in their commercials.
