    1. Not taking care of our parents, which includes grandparents. This sin is tantamount to a denial of Christ (see I Tim. 6). How many "Christian" young people do you know who give a second thought to the needs of their grandparents?

    2. Talking and joking about foolish and sinful things. The Bible says this ought not to be once named among the saints; and that the things "done of them in secret" are a shame to even utter (see Ephesians 5).

    3. The sin of approving those who God condemns. We make idols of men (like Johnny Cash, John Ritter, and the Dixie Chicks) who we ought to despise (see Psalm 15 and Romans 1:32).

    4. The sin of refusing to practice church discipline (see I Corinthians 5).

Mark, some top-notch points too. Thanks.

For #4 (re: church discipline), who is responsible for ensuring that it's handled or done? Is it the pastor, the deacons, the body of the church collectively, or other?

I just am unsure where the Bible places the responsibility.

Most such sins heinous enough to demand church action are known by the pastor and elders (maybe deacons and body know general, but usually the details are not).

So the onus of "bringing" it to the church, should be on the pastor/elders
