I have a couple of private messages this morning and when I click Send Reply, I got a page saying there is a page error. Nothing happens when I try to send new private message. Anyone else having trouble?

HCL Yes! I did receive the package and am reading the pamphlet alongside my Bible. Thank you!

    S.
I am the Administrator of the whole board and moderate the Marriage, Prayer and Praise Boards. I have the posts and replies forwarded to my email so I can scan them as they are posted. I only check the board 3 times a day unless there is a lot going on. It's mainly a board of much younger women and the posts usually revolve around family and children concerns. We have moderators for each area of the board. The threads include: Moms of Infants, etc.; Home School; Weight Loss Board; etc.... Sue Swann, the owner, posts daily Bible Studies she has written, Quotes from Reformed Leaders, etc. The board is also shut down from late Saturday night until early Monday morning to encourage the moms to attend church.

I am very seldom on Baptist Board! I read while I have my morning tea and check in usually during lunch. At night, my guys have Playstation going in one room and with only one satellite dish, I usually have to watch sports... so I check in here. I generally only read 'Today's Active Topics' and only through page 2-3, but I do have one youth who sends me links to hot topics!

I've ICQ'd Syd and Sue (who are members here and are Reformed Baptists) and asked if they'd like me to post the link for their board. If they say yes, I'll do it later.

Chris and Anne, off Women at the Well, said to share their link. It's mainly a KJVO, dress only board for almost all Baptist women and you have to be approved BEFORE you can view the board but here's the link to that one.

I'm the liberal on THAT board...(Pants, makeup, NKJV) LOL! So that tells you how conservative it is!

Sometimes if you hit refresh on your computer it'll bring up the page. It happened to be a couple of days ago, but I was still able to send replies by hitting the refresh button every time it took me to a new page.

Diane....you have violated Baptisboard rules by placing pms on the board. I must ask you at this time to remove them, or I will have to contact a moderator. Thank you.

    God Bless

Thanks for letting me know, Sherrie. I wasn't aware of that rule. I removed them but left my answers.

    I reported myself to Clint.

I lost five demerit points as a moderator when I exposed parts of a private message in a very private area. I think the reprimand said that I was not to expose private parts in public, and I never did it again.

I hope Brother Clint goes easier on you. [IMG]

Is this about Christian modesty?...I would hope none of us would expose any private parts in public. [IMG] Oh Jim, You are too funny. [IMG]

editted because I left a whole word out of my sentence. I must be tired. ;)

Diane, you've pricked my conscience! I'm reporting here and now that I ate a cinnamon roll today when I wasn't hungry. Not just a normal one, one of those huge giant twirly ones, WITH
    ICING!
I apologize to my fellow BB members.
As part of the "body" I felt I should be the one to tell you before you found out second hand, or when you found yourself full at dinnertime and didn't know why. :(

LOL Gina, you are SO funny. Jim too!

I looked and looked and cannot find that rule anywhere! I looked under FAQ and Posting Rules... Am I that blind? LOL.....

Since they were nice notes, I didn't think anything about it. One lady had sent me a gift and one lady had a question about another board. No secrets or ugliness.

Diane, I shouldn't get one's knickers in knots over this little matter, especially since they did away with the stocks, the dunker and the human catapult.

The reason for not exposing private messages is a matter of respecting privacy of the sender.

I didn't see anything particularly private in wot you wrote. There is no "specific" rule that says one cannot post private messages, but it comes under showing grace to others.....the interpretation being that these are "private" messages and therefore "private" between two parties. I hope this clarifies how this is understood on the BaptistBoard.

    Cheers,

Jim, once moderator, now in subjective exile, so without authority or the ability to chain, whip or otherwise execute unbearable punishment.......oh shucks....God bless.....
