Proposed rank (rate) structure

In the military - a great way to induce enlistment and to reward those who are effective EM's is thur promotions.

However- sometimes promotions come to fast - esp at the E-4 level.

Thus I would like to propose this recommended pay scale.


Junior Enlisted

E-1...... Recruit, Basic
E-2.......Recruit
E-3.......Recruit First Class

Enlisted

E-4.......Private
E-5.......Private Second Class
E-6...... Private First Class

NCO

N-1........Lance Corporal
N-2........Corporal
N-3........Sergeant
N-4........Staff Sgt

Senior NCO
N-5........Sergeant First Class
N-6........Master Sgt / First Sgt
N-7........Sgt Major/ Bn/Bde CSM ( Commander = LTC/Col)
N-8........ Reg/Div/Corp CSM (CDR = 1 & 2 Star officer)
N-9.........FA+ CSM / SMA (CDR = 3 & 4 Star officer)

Ranks given are for Army - Marines/AF/Navy would use service appropriate ranks/Rates
