Psalm 86 A prayer of David.

1 Bend down, O LORD, and hear my prayer; answer me, for I need your help.

2 Protect me, for I am devoted to you. Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
    You are my God.

3 Be merciful, O Lord, for I am calling on you constantly.

4 Give me happiness, O Lord, for my life depends on you.

5 O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask your aid.

6 Listen closely to my prayer, O LORD; hear my urgent cry.

7 I will call to you whenever trouble strikes, and you will answer me.

8 Nowhere among the pagan gods is there a god like you, O Lord. There are no other miracles like yours.

    9. All the nations--and you made each one-- will come and bow before you, Lord; they will praise your great and holy name.

    10. For you are great and perform great miracles. You alone are God.

11 Teach me your ways, O LORD, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, that I may honor you.

12 With all my heart I will praise you, O Lord my God. I will give glory to your name forever,

13 for your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death!

14 O God, insolent people rise up against me; violent people are trying to kill me. And you mean nothing to them.

15 But you, O Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to get angry, full of unfailing love and truth.

16 Look down and have mercy on me. Give strength to your servant; yes, save me, for I am your servant.

17 Send me a sign of your favor. Then those who hate me will be put to shame, for you, O LORD, help and comfort me.

I agree with Mr. Putin. Al Qaeda is the one in the grip of fear now. In another four years they will be an even weaker organization than they are already.

Who says they are weak? Are you yet another person who believes terrorism is a static entity?

What ye gives, ye shall recieve; I anticipate more hateful attacks from those responding to our hate.

We have not been attacked by al Qaeda and its cronies because of any hate from us. Al Qaeda and its cronies are evil. You need to understand that and get rid of your "blame America" mentality, my friend.

    JaG04,

this is how wars begin and end.

    1. One side attacks.
    2. The other retalliates.
    3. Side one fights back.
    4. Repeating until one side runs out of men.

Here is the cool part. We are still retalliating from the first attack.

Is that a rock in your hand and something in your eye, Ken?

Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Are you SO sure that our sins across the world have not helped the sin in others grow? Sounds presumptuopus.

According to narrow Western ideas of war... which are unbiblical, by the way.

Wow, so Christilike. I'm not so sure about where he said genocide was ok... care to reference some scripture for that?

Hey, if you want to sit back and let an evil person rape your wife and your neighbor's wife, and kill your children and your neighbor's children, then go ahead.

Rational, Christian folks defend others from evil people.

    Not you, Ken, to JaG.

It isn't. That's why we are fighting to try to keep al Qaeda from repeating the genocide they perpetrated on 9/11/01.

God has given governments the power to defend the innocent and punish the evildoers. Romans 13.

Based on that alone (but that really isn't all I've got), the US could smack down those who attacked us.

God did the first genocide. It was called the Great Flood. Of course you liberals don't believe it was an actual event, just a fairy tale.

    ...

Do you actually think God a mass murderer?

Do you actually think genocide is an acceptable act?

    Dear Lord in Heaven...

Murder is the UNLAWFUL act of killing.
The Great Flood was not UNLAWFUL.
