After reading an inflamatory article against the Women's Health and Human Life Protection Act of S.D. in our local paper Florida Today Florida Today
I had to go and read the actual law, Women's Health and Human Life Protection Act to see what it says. After reading the law I can't help but say thankyou to the men and women of S.D. for standing up for the rights of the most defenseless class of people, children in-utero. I also must say it is a beautiful bipass of Roe v. Wade as it does not encroach on privacy issues rather it takes the stand that the Government must defend those who can not defend themselves and approaches it from the view point that everybody regardless of age has a right to live their life.
My hat is off to South Dakota.

I strongly second your opinion. I hope the Church will get behind the brave people of SD. I pray more state's will follow their lead.

Doesn't that bill force woman who have been raped, or are the victims of incest to have these babies?

Yes but the children resulting from forced unions are no less human.

So you think that situation justifies the death of the innocent victim? It wasn't the child's fault. God never condones taking a human life unless in the case of capital punishment.

No I do not. Neither though, am I inclined to force a woman who has been raped, or a victim of incest, to be responsible for the unwanted results of these actions for the rest of their lives.

But they do not have to be, adoption is always a valid option.
