Again you accuse the MV's of having the absence, yet you do not prove it. The KJV itself has added and taken away and changed words. Why have you not addressed these facts, Michelle? Would it force you to see the KJV for what it is....A TRANSLATION!?! Yes, it would...and you could not face the facts.

    Michelle states:

I do not interpret anything on my own, but pray and wait for the Lord to give me understanding. It is the Lord through the Holy Spirit that gives us understanding and the proper interpretation.

    AVL1984:

Michelle, this is totally untrue. You have INTERPRETED scripture to try and fit your views instead of letting Scripture interpret itself. This is a poor representation of Jesus Christ and the Bible. You have yet to prove anything concerning the KJV's inerrancy and have refused to anwer the proof given that it is not inerrant at all. In fact, you have yet to prove the MV's have taken away or added. Your long rants are moot without adequate proof.

This section of scripture is called the Johannine Comma, michelle. You might want to do a little more study on it before declaring definitively that it was in the Bible. There is more than adequate proof that it was not.

Can you explain for us then, Michelle, how people who use the MV's understand the Word of God, come to him for salvation, live Godly lives, grow in Christ and then lead others to Him using these versions??? Could it be??? Are they the Word of God??? YES!!!

Who was that, ..Ronald Reagan I believe: "Now there you go again!"

    Michelle,
READ MY LIPS: No, actually, read what I said. I am so tired of you spouting back that somebody is doubting your salvation when you are disagreed with.

If you would have taken the time to read everything I said, I asked you if you were saying that I (a born again Christian) am listening to a false god when the Holy Spirit tells me that my NIV is the Word of God.

I should NOT have to explain specifics to you, but comparing a "Feeling" that something is right is what the Mormons DO. NOT WHAT THEY BELIEVE. I did NOT say anything about YOUR salvation! and I am really getting tired of you trying to make me look as if I have.

The question is, are all of the people who read MVs and listen to the Holy Spirit and are born-again Christians wrong? Just because you think the Holy Spirit tells you that you are right?

Are you doubting OUR salvation, Michelle?

Moderators, pardon my frustration here, I am so sick of her twisting everything around so that she becomes the victim. As a private investigator I see this all day long and personally, I don't buy into it. It is nothing more than a defense mechanism.

    Now........I feel much better........... :D

Phillip, you're not the only one who is experiencing this frustration. It has become a common thing from Michelle. Just look back through a majority of her posts. I believe she is saved, truly wants to serve God, but is very misled. Peace to you.

You are right, there is little doubt that she is a Christian. That has never been my doubt, but she is so wrapped up in the KJVO theory that it is sad.

I honestly feel that she wants to convert us because she believes those beliefs are correct and she honestly cares. The sad fact is, she's wrong.

I would NEVER deny someone the use of the KJV as their only Bible, but it would be wrong of me to deny their use of the NIV, NASB, ESV, etc.

We accept the scriptures as authoritative truth that say he does this, but we do not accept people who claim this has happened to them as authoritative. That's the difference. If we did, we would have more authorities than we could count.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You must be very confused, as you cannot then tell what is or is not supposed to be scripture, by your own admission. You see, 1 John 5:7 IS SCRIPTURE, and HAS BEEN SCRIPTURE and is not something that ONLY I know and claim is scripture, nor something that is NEW REVELATION TO THE CHURCHES. Your doubt and uncertainty of it is, HOWEVER.

Love in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,
    michelle
