    Question about the Death Penalty??

Doesnt God have full control of who lives and who dies then is it right for us to have the Death Penalty???

Abortions are illegal and they are totally wrong then why is the Death Penalty allowed???

God gave the sword to the civil government in order to punish the evil doer. What good's a sword if you can't hack a way with it.

    Apples and Oranges, man.
What crimes are the babies guilty of ?

On the other hand, if you see an innocent face and smell baby breath in a convicted death convict, then, I guess.......

The state has the right to kill...so take away that right to kill.

It is not apples and oranges between abortion and killing another person, state or no...If it wrong to KILL, it is wrong to kill. Abortion is also legal,,,by the state.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Uh, it IS apples and oranges.

We are not to kill, this is pertaining to - Kill without just cause.

Just meaning in the legal sense of a violation of law.

Abortion - They are unwanted - so killed

death penalty- They have done great violence harm and most likely will again.

    Apples and oranges.

Yes, abortion is legal but not morally Just. It is done in the name of convience much like euthinasia.
As beleivers we are to obey the governing laws of our land EXCEPT when they violate scriptural principles.
