Can't deny what he did in college. But does he have what it takes to live up to the likely #1 pick billing? After the Rose Bowl, I'm having doubts about his ability to translate into the same level of success with the speed and power of the NFL game. I think he'll be a good player but will he be a great one? Any thoughts?

Leinert gone, White gone, and now Bush gone (not that i'm surprised either).
Looks like USC's run may be over...if White had stayed they may have had a little better chance, but i don't think so anymore.

I think that Bush will be a great pro - if I was houston I would take him in a flash. I would then add o linemen in the next three rounds to open holes and give he and carr protection.

If I were Houston, I would trade down and try to get a ton of picks for Bush. There is so much hype around him that surely some team would pay big. Bush is great and all, but Houston has way to many problems for one guy to come in and turn them around. They need to fill tons of wholes. I say see if you can get a couple of first round, couple of second round, and a couple of verterns (Ryan Leaf got that much, why not Bush).

Does this mean the Razorbacks actually have a shot of winning this game next year? :D

    Pete,

In the NFL you win with studs. I think back to Seattle trading with Dallas many years ago. Dallas drafted tony dorsett, seattle got a bunch of picks. dallas won superbowls, seattle zippo.

On the other hand dallas traded hershell to minnesota for about five years of draft picks, no has been that stupid since! I take that back - the cardinals are that stupid every year, but that is whole different story!

I still think that if i am houston I take bush, shore up the line through the draft and free agents, perhaps add a good receiver to complement carr and bush. their defense was not bad last year.

I hate USC and therefore have not been a fan of Bush. However, he runs alot like Barry Sanders. He'll be a very good pro barring injury.

Vince Young on the other hand has probably seen his high water mark as a player.
