    I watched the entire opening ceremony and I think I got over 90% of the references. The repeated showing of highlights from rugby (I think) matches I did not comprehend.

    There was a bit of whingeing about it at the start, largely as a result of selfish greedy corporate gits buying up tickets so no-one else can have them and then not turning up, but that seems to have been forgotten largely now.

    It's the medals that count...:smilewinkgrin:
