You all know I live in New Jersey---a real cultural & theological void / desert.

I have been attempting to research a style of A Capella hymn singing called Sacred Harp/Shape Note A Capella singing. I like it & whats more they have a group in Joisey that gets together to do this---I am excited. Here are two Youtubes on it. Anybody familiar with it?

A lot of our Appalachian Music heroes, especially the first-generation Bluegrass players (Bill Monroe, Lester Flatt) learned to sing using this method. It sounds wonderful on these clips.
