    It was pretty good. Stuck to the outline of the book better than most of the stuff out of Hollywood.

    What was funny to me was the two guys who ended up being the leads--they had the attitude of "never say never"--there is always an option.

    I read the book years ago. I have read so many Dirk Pitt novels that I could write one myself.

    It's funny....I can't stand Dirk Pitt!! He is a horrible character, very sexist and macho. But I love the books. There are about so many absolutely ridiculous historical findings and events. They are very entertaining books, even though the main character is a pig.

    I will probably watch Sahara.

    I read it years ago, too, as a Civil War buff. It was a little far-fetched, so that should make it a GREAT hollywood movie!

    I'll wait for the DVD
