NAFTA = North American Free Trade Agreement

CAFTA = Central American Free Trade Agreement

CAFTA is a stepping stone to FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas).

These are increasingly large beurocracies, superseding the constitutional government of our nation, that are DESTROYING our economy and gutting our manufacturing infrastructure.

They are NOT "free trade" as claimed, but trade regulated by the elite for the benefit of the elite, designed to destroy our national sovereignty for the benefit of...the elite.

    HERE is timely information.

We barely build things anymore ..we consume.

    The ultimate judas traitors ..corporations

    who offshore...dodge taxes again offshore

Why are they traitors...because common people

suffered and died in wars so they could have

a free platform to set up business...it is because

of the millions of"band of brothers" that

these large corporations even exists or even

had a hope to begin with. Now they slap America

in the face ...Delta Airlines got a bailout after

9/11 what did those traitors do they sent 15,000

jobs to India...thats right your tax dollars

    helped finance outsourcing.

I am warning you if we lose the middle class in
this country ...we are offically in decline.

Exactly. Government of the corporations, by the corporations, and for the corporations.

"...CAFTA would build on the three-nation North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) by expanding the trade bloc to include Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic. Congressional ratification of CAFTA is coveted by the White House, its political allies in Central America, and politically connected corporate interests who stand to profit from outsourcing production to low-wage nations in the region. It is stoutly opposed by U.S. agricultural and textile producers, who are reeling from the economic impact of NAFTA and are understandably worried that CAFTA would trigger another flood of imports and another hemorrhage of industrial jobs. Most importantly, since the agreement would further undermine our nation's ability to control its economic destiny, it has prompted opposition from Americans who seek to preserve our national independence. ..."

The five permanent members of the United Nations security council, charged with maintaining world peace, also happen to be the world's five principal arms traders. The UN general assembly represents governments rather than people...

Hit the ole' nail right square on, eh ?

Not surprisingly, Bush supports CAFTA, the FTAA and NAFTA--all of which are destructive of our national sovereignty. So he has violated his oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution.

It's time for an impeachment trial. Unfortunately, it won't happen with Bush lackeys in control of both houses of Congress.

Thanks for posting the link, PJ.

    Regulate, Regulate, Regulate.

You guys sound like a hybrid between a Union shill and a Democratic lawmaker.

Freedom is fine as long as it doesn't get in my pocketbook! - Is that the mantra?

No. CAFTA is not free trade, it's a huge pile of regulations along with a plan for elites to control it.

I'm for free trade for both individuals and corporations. I'm against huge plans to regulate it for the benefit of the politically connected.

Yep, that's why I gave up my career in Business and answered God's Call to preach. My wife and I went from being in the top 10% of Families in America for annual family income to $300/ month in a bivocational church in Wisconsin.

    Yep, I'm really self-centered!

You mean like the income tax laws? </font>[/QUOTE]Yes, and with the added problem that these trade agreements set up quasi-governments that are intended to supersede our legitimate government and constitution.
