How are people saved during the so-called Great Tribulation. The Church is gone, the Holy Spirit is gone, there are none left on earth who are believers?

Rom 10:9 (KJV1611):
That if thou shalt confesse with thy mouth the Lord Iesus, and shalt beleeue in thine heart, that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saued.

Gentiles that are saved will have their
heads cut off. The early church fathers called
this 'stillborn Christians'. That is, their
confession of Jesus as Lord resulted in
their death.

Jews that see Jesus as their Messiah when
the Antichrist commits the abomination of
desolation will be saved when they believe
and confess Jesus as their Messiah/Lord.
God will supernaturally protect them through
the Great Tribulation Period.

That doesn't answer how someone can be saved WITHOUT the Holy Spirit within them.

Ed,

Romans 10:9 is apply to our present age, this verse is for any individual either Jew or Gentile who shall confess with heart and mouth believeth that God hath raised Christ from the dead, sahlt be saved. This is the promise for everyone in this present age.

Romans 10:9 doesn't answer OldRegular's question. You do really need a soild clear verse to answer his question.

In Christ
Rev. 22:20 -Amen!

Sorry to inform you, Sir.
There is NOTHING more solid than Romans 10:9.
Romans 10:9 is my Eternal Life Verse.

Ed?

Do they actually believe that the Holy Spirit cannot accomplish what the Father wills? Sounds like it ... sounds like more left behind theology ...

True, true, true, Eddy Edwards!!! The "truth" of Romans 10:9 is God's "Liberty Bell" that has been ringing itself from the eons of eternity past--all the way to the present age in which we live---to the day that will be called "that day"---when we will one day find ourselves standing ON that truth---instead of the present standing IN that truth!!!

</font>
That's true to a point---at the very second of the Resurrection/Rapture---every blood bought child of God of the present Church Age---will be raised up and snatched up----leaving at that moment---zero---(count them)---0---as in "zero" believers left---the Holy Spirit will still be present---He will just relinquish His roll as "restrainer of evil"---thus evil will have a field day---and to try to stop evil---you'd fair off better tryin' to dam Niagra Falls with toothpicks as to try to stop evil from coming in!!!! See???

However---during the GT---in spite of the fact that literally billions will reject and ultimately die and go to hell----untold counts of people will be saved---through what??? The preaching of the two prophets that God sends---for how can people "hear without a preacher" and how can they "preach unless they are sent"---the two prophets being to preach---the Holy Spirit continues to draw-for "noone comes to God unless they be drawn by Him"--millions will reject---but millions still will receive! I don't believe that God will withdraw the Holy Spirit--for the Holy Spirit is God as convictor, God as Judge of evil, ushering in conviction to bring conversion!!

Now---be careful here about the idea that LaHaye falsely states in his fictional picture---not just "anyone" can be saved during that time---but only those who the Spirit "draws to Himself" through the truthful preaching of those Prophets from God----strong delusion will gush forth---sent from God---so that instead of receiving truth from the prophets of God---multitudes will "believe the lie" spewin' from the nasty mouth of that terrible false prophet from Hell!!

El Guero---Brother---I must totally reject any kind of fictional theology scribed by the "Left Behind Boys"---read my posts here on this page---not once does the Bible say that the Holy Spirit will leave----but will literally "stand aside" as the Restrainer of all evil----to the point where the evil will cascade upon the earth like water out of a fire hose!!!!

Who is going to preach the Gospel since all the Christians, including preachers, are gone?

Romans 10:12-15 [KJV, 1769]
12. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15. And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

I thought all the early Church fathers were "gnostic/amillennial heretics" and not to be believed. Where is the Scripture to support the above nonsensical statement?

So the Gentile believers saved somehow are going to be beheaded and the Jewish believers are going to be supernaturally protected during the GRRReat TRRibulation. Any Scripture to support this statement or is it just another dispensational fantasy?

</font>
Your statement: "The Holy Spirit enters them

I thought that "left behind theology was dispensational? Could I be wrong? Isn't LeHaye a follower of Darby?

</font>
I thought that was what happened when the Church was removed prior to the GRRReat TRRibulation [I don't speak Latin.]. Could I be wrong again. Someone needs to explain dispensational doctrine. That is one reason I started this thread.

So the Holy Spirit is still here!!!! Well I am learning something. But when do those two prophets show up, I mean they are only mentioned after the sixth trumpet is sounded, getting mighty close to that seventh and final trumpet. They are only going to preach for 3.5 years and then be killed. Is this the first 3.5 years or the last 3.5 years? Makes a big difference you know. If its the last 3.5 years how are people going to be saved the first 3.5 years? Need some clarification here.

I am just trying to learn something about the theology of Salvation during the GRReat TRRibulation after the Church has been removed [I don't speak Latin you know.]. I thought that dispensational doctrine was that the Holy spirit was also going to be removed also. Would someone please show me the pertinent Scripture? I can even read 1611 English if I try hard.
