I saw Ruckman preach about a month ago in Monahans Texas. I took my boys. 82 years old and going strong. It was a blessing.

You just have to dig a little deeper to find this on the site from which the first one came:

    BIBLE BELIEVERS

Pastor Paulson has this to say on his Web site:

This was from biblebelievers.com ? I couldn't find the quote anywhere in the article from the link provided or anywhere else on the site. In fact, I couldn't find one link to anything regarding Ruckman. No article, no doctrinal studies, no version issues - nothing. Not one mention of Peter Ruckman on the entire website. And this is a site run by "Ruckmandroids?"

Pardon. Bad link because of form structure. This is Bible Believers links page (from which the first reference was made), replete with Ruckman, Gipp, Riplinger (and Burgon, to be fair):

    BIBLE BELIEVERS' LINKS PAGE

The quote in my above post was from Pastor Paulson's church home page:

    WELCOME TO TOUCHET BAPTIST CHURCH

    Some more from Touchet:

Ellipses are for brevity and do not affect the context, which is available here:

    COMING OUT OF THE CLOSET

If it walks like a duck ...

    rsr,

If you click the link in your last post marked as "BIBLE BELIEVERS' LINK PAGE" you will see that it is actually the "Links Page" from "The Believers Organization" website and not from "Bible Believers (.com)"

The Bible Believers (.com) website does not offer anything from Ruckman, which is what I've been saying all along here and why I take issue with the "Ruckmandroids" accusation from another poster.

The original article, though it appears on biblebelievers.com, is taken from The Believers Organization, whose "blessed" links I have provided.

Seems pretty much an endorsement of Ruckman, since he figures prominently in the links.

The links in Ransom's articles above are the kind of things that cause me really question my KJV usage. I do not want to be associated with that kind of stuff. There was a quote in one of the articles about the blah, blah, blah 1769 edition of the 1611AV with a few corrections made well into the 1800's.

I still ask - "IF IT WAS PERFECT WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE CORRECTED?"

    Gershom asked:

You just go around assuming all KJVO people are "Ruckmandroids?"

The domains www.biblebelievers.com and www.touchet1611.org are not "all KJVO people." They are sites that promote the bizarre pseudotheology usually associated with Dr. Petey Ruckman.

It is, of course, disingenuous to claim that just because you cannot find the name "Ruckman" on the site, the views espoused thereon have nothing to do with Dr. Petey.

In your quest to disparage, you've brought into the light your own lack of discernment and willful ignorance.

It appears I know the contents of KJV-only Web sites and the peculiarities of their webmasters better than the KJV-onlyists do. You gotta laugh.

The Bible Believer's Bull-etin is, of course, Dr. Petey's very own rant-rag.

</font>[/QUOTE]This kind of belief is hysterical. Absolutely stupid. I can't believe they can believe this. With absoletuly no proof why the KJV is better than anyother translation. Except the MV's highly value the mss which these guys seem to disregard as much as there trash.

Yeah, I've tried to interact with Paulson about this stuff. He stonewalls. Lately he's also had a change of "ministry" - no doubt so he can pontificate ex cathedra about the subject of music instead (I am hard pressed to find evidence he knows any more about that subject than the translation and transmission of the Bible).

Where did you find this link? I clicked every link at the site and came up with nothing, and still cannot find this one. What did you click on at the Bible Believers website to find it? I know you have the address, but I'd like to know what link you clicked on at the site to get this to come up.

If I recall correctly, I used the search string ruckman site:biblebelievers.com on Google.
