Scientists who questioned mankind's impact on climate change have received death threats and claim to have been shunned by the scientific community.

They say the debate on global warming has been "hijacked" by a powerful alliance of politicians, scientists and environmentalists who have stifled all questioning about the true environmental impact of carbon dioxide emissions.

Timothy Ball, a former climatology professor at the University of Winnipeg in Canada, has received five deaths threats by email since raising concerns about the degree to which man was affecting climate change.

One of the emails warned that, if he continued to speak out, he would not live to see further global warming.

I find it incredible that Global Warming is not left alone to be debated in theory among the scientific community. Although I have no opinion of whether or not Global Warming is real, it does not make any sense to block or restrict investigating this matter.

I guess like most everything else it all comes down to money and control.

Scientific and political careers have been built on global warming, I can see where some would not want the world to know it might not be true. I don't for one second think we've been given all the facts.

    From the article:

"Western governments have pumped billions of dollars into careers and institutes and they feel threatened," said the professor.

I do not think this is as much about money as it is socialism.

I still can't get the ice in my glass of tea to melt and flood all over the table. I've been trying and trying but all I get is watery tea. Maybe I need arctic ice to make it work right, I dunno.

I believe the claim is that most of the ice at the anarctic is on land, will melt, and then flow into the ocean.

Fill your glass of tea to the top, and then drop another cube in. You will get the desired effect.

    peace to you:praying:

Hey that worked real nice! But you and I both know my glass of tea isn't the anarctic where studies have shown that warmer temps lead to more precipitation that actually increases the ice at the south pole instead of melting it, right?

And still the equivilent would be if a small portion of ice fell into the glass of tea instead of the whole cube. Then we must consider natural evaportaion, some of the melting ice going other places than the sea like into the ground, lakes etc.

And again all this hocus pocus is based on computer models trying to predict something that has never been experienced by man. Computers do not make speculation nay more credible that word of mouth.

Yep, like my electronics teacher in high school told us when we were learning about computer programing, rule one was...garbage in garbage out. Personally I believe all the hooplah about "global warming" has more to do with conditioning people to the idea of global taxation and living the Agenda 21 way than scientific study or any real concern about the environment. If the myth of global warming were to crumble the internationalists would be forced to start all over with another scam to bring us to "a global consensus". No wonder they've taken to threatening people that do not agree with their particular brand of science.

Threatening the opposition is a sign of weakness in theory and facts.
