    ....
The Pima County Sheriff's Department and Pima Community College have declined to release documents that could shed light on run-ins they had with 22-year-old Jared Loughner in the months prior to the shooting.
The Arizona Public Records Law requires that records be "open to inspection by any person at all times" unless officials can prove releasing the information would violate rights of privacy or confidentiality or otherwise harm the best interests of the state.
The Arizona Republic requested that records, including incident reports on campus and calls for dispatch of deputies to Loughner's home, be released under the law. Such reports are often released as a matter of course in criminal cases....

Insert gratuitous smarmy comparison to the Harvard GPA records & legible birth certificate concealment by the Liar-in-Chief.

Pressure from the Az newspaper is causing the Sheriff to relent. I'll find a link, perhaps.

Good for the sheriff! Releasing the files would only make it harder to seat a jury.

And Sheriff Dupnik's comments blaming “vitriolic political rhetoric” for the shooting won't have any effect on the jury?

More like Dupe Nik, as in Duped Political Partisan...

The release of the records can not possible prejudiec the jury any more than the already inflamatory and out of the park comments already made by Dupednik...

What the release of the records will more than likely show is that this perp had a history that bore watching and the sheriff did nothing...

Remember that little saying about when you point a finger there are four pointing back at yourself...

It may very well be true in Dupedniks case...
