    from the article....
whatever happened to the principle of letting one possibly guilty go free than having one possibly innocent man in jail ?
so he's going to spend his whole life in prison because of one lousy technicality ?
and yet we clamor for the release of uncharged terrorism suspects from Gitmo ?
In the meantime, back in Washington DC, somebody at the White House is getting away with multiple murder and dereliction of duty.
    ROTFL.
we've become a society of eggheads.

Man, the state of Texas, all due respects to Texans, must really be rich. Because here they got a man sitting in prison where he shouldn't have been since 1983.
He's in prison for a sentence that doesn't exist, and an offence for which he has been cleared.
IN THE US OF A, THE BASTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, OF POLITICAL CORRECTNESS, OF FAIRNESS, OF REPUBLICANISM, OF CONSTITUTIONAL GUARANTEES ???!!!:BangHead::BangHead:

If this is true, and if Mr. Hartfield EVER is freed, man, the state of Texas sure is gonna have to cough up millions.
    What's going on ?
