The subject of making pseudoephedrine a prescription medicine once again is before the Indiana state legislature at the present time. Both my state representative and senator have questions about it on their voter surveys. I imagine that the question is before your state legislature, also. I am leaning towards making it a prescription medicine but I think that it would be a lot of extra work for our already over-burdened doctors. My pharmacy has all pseudoephedrine with the pharmacist behind the counter and out of reach. I don't use it, but to buy it I have to show ID, sign my name, and am limited to two packages. What should I tell my representatives?
