Should the Amish be required to obey this law

    But fundamentalists can lash out against homosexuals! Where are their rights?

    I didn't think this thread was about how laws that don't make sense can be imposed, but regular building codes.

    Wow! I'm astounded.

    If polygamy, then we will head toward allowing adults to marry minors (which already happens in the polygamous community).

    Recently I had my home worked on and they exceeded the code for about $2,000 less than other contractors. I know because I qualified as a state building inspector.

    HP: Your comment suggests that homosexuals are be denied their rights by fundamentalists involved in ‘lashing out.’ What rights do you see are being denied and can you put that in a context that might demonstrate such as consistent with ‘lashing out’ at them? Thanks.
