I never said Christians are free to sin. You keep reading that into my posts. It would seem you are creating a strawman, the very thing you blame me for all the time. Where again did I say murder was ok? Please tell me or stop your falsehoods.

"Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to
corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things."

No... They took what they were once given, a glorious image of God, perfect in all His ways and said, "we don't like this, we don't like that..." and changed the original image into one of corruptible man (their own desires). They lowered the image, they cheapened it, they blasphemed it and they sinned. They lost their way, following their own lusts (v24).

Thank you, Brother Robert for trying to pull this topic back on to course, no matter how futile that effort may have been. Your thoughts reflect my own well and you graciously presented my sentiments and saved me a great deal of typing.

Everyone has now had more than a day to throw rocks. I'm closing the topic. If you wish to continue the debate, please try one of these currently open threads:

post-it, I understand that you will not directly use those words, and so are free to say Jason (or others) are building strawmen. But you are saying that Christians are free to do something which many of us believe is a sin. I think you can make the connection.

Since you are advocating a subjective understanding of right and wrong
it is certainly understandable that all of us reading your posts will wonder since "only the Holy Spirit will place in a person's heart what sin is for that person," isn't it possible that murder, slander, greed, etc. in certain cases would not be a sin "for that person?"
