SLAIN MEDICAL MISSIONARY EULOGIZED AT MEMORIAL SERVICE
(Mobile, Alabama-AP) -- Dr. Martha Myers is being
remembered as a Christian martyr who spent more than two decades
as a "beacon of light" in a "dark land where there is no Gospel
    witness."
The tribute came at a memorial service in Mobile, Alabama,
for the medical missionary who was shot to death along with two
other Americans at a hospital in Yemen Monday.
Several hundred people -- among them Baptist church leaders
and former missionaries -- took part in the service, which
included hymns, Bible readings and tearful recollections.
The man arrested in the killing is described as an Islamic
    militant.
Myers was was buried Tuesday on the hospital grounds in
Yemen, where her father said the grave will be "a testimony."

These 3 deaths were referred to when I was at church the other night...but I hadn't known who they were. Thank you for posting this information about one of them.
