The radio said this morning that every state in the union had a place where the temperature was below freezing today, even Hawaii. Indy got a foot of snow more or less a couple of days ago. The ole West Wind drifted it up real nice. But then a polar vortex came down and hit Indy real hard, bringing everything to a standstill and causing many injuries and some deaths, as everything is suspended until the minus 34 wind chill goes away. The roads are like the old-fashioned washboards as salt won't work in such low temperatures, as you know. With George Bush's banning of the incandescent light bulb, expect even lower temperatures in the future.
