I campaigned heavily for Michael Steele in his bid for governor and yet, because I have disagreements with Obama that have nothing to do with race, evidently, I'm a racist.

Because he hates babies and loves to murder them, in the womb or out. He hates America and wants to see it's ruin.

I never did, so you need to stop painting with a broad brush

Nothing was wrong with President Bush, he spoke from the heart and he didn't rely on technology to give a speech that he didn't mean anyway. The idiot in the WH now can't speak without a teleprompter. Frankly I don't care what a non American thinks, we don't vote for you.

I hate him just as you all hated President Bush.

This post is so full of ignorant hateful opinion that is isn't worthy of a response. Enjoy the bastion of liberty & peace that is South Africa.

I contend that it is the only reason our new friend likes him. He hasn't posted one policy decision he can agree with. So far, Obama is little more than a continuation of the previous two.

Quite frankly I do not hate the man. I think that he is a nice fellow. Just because we oppose his polices does not mean we hate him. However for me it is the issue of abortion that just makes my skin crawl when ever I hear him speak.

I cannot speak for anyone else on this board, and I have not read any of their responses yet. However, I do NOT dislike Mr. Obama, I dislike his philosophy and his actions.

    1. He is in favor of abortion, to the point he has stated he would like to make it MANDATORY for all medical facilities to provide abortions. There is no allowance for a religious objection to the performing of abortions. In fact, it would appear that any such objection could be treated as if it were treason or a hate crime.

    2. He (obviously) believes that big government and excess spending is the only way to fix anything. Every economics lesson I have ever learned from anybody says that you must control your spending to recover from a recession. Mr. Obama has repeatedly stated that spending is the best way to recover from this recession, even when all of the money must be borrowed from somewhere else (call that China?).

    3. Mr Obama wishes to release the terrorists who have been imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay. However, he has no plan on what to do with them. He has even suggested moving them into our neighborhoods (in jails, but still in local neighborhoods). He ignores evidence that they are indeed terrorists. In fact, recently Mr. Obama has even been courting closer relations with countries, such as Iran, who have openly supported terrorism against our military members in Iraq and Afghanistan.

    4. Mr. Obama has repeatedly (over his first 100 days in office) shown that he does not have any common sense. He has nominated several people to positions in his Cabinet who should be in jail instead, for failure to pay taxes (until they get caught!). He waffles on his opinions all the time, based on the most recent public opinion poll. He cannot talk without a teleprompter. In fact, I have occasionally wondered who is HIS "puppet master" - maybe Nancy Pelosi?

Is that enough reasons for me to dislike Mr. Obama's philosophy and stances on certain policies? I have made it my commitment to pray for the President (whoever it is) for many years, and I am continuing to do so for Mr. Obama. I personally think it is the best thing I can do for him!

God can't forgive you of something that you aren't repentant about. You have the Holy Spirit living inside of you, with His help you can overcome hate. The Holy Spirit will give you love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. You say you can't do it, which well might be true. That's why you need to give control of the sin over to God and let the Holy Spirit work within you.

BO is not my brother, so I don't hate my brother. You are in Christ and I don't hate you, see.

Now I will disagree that it's sin

"Do I not hate those who hate You, O Lord, and abhor those who rise up against You? I have nothing but hatred for them; I count them my enemies" Psalm 139:21-22

and I don't pray blessings on Evil which he is, BO is an empty shell filled up with evil. I do pray imprecatory prays for him as David did for his enemies

Psalm 35:5 - May they be like chaff before the wind.
Psalm 55:15 - Let death take my enemies by surprise; let them go down alive to the grave.
Psalm 58:6 - O God, break the teeth in their mouths.
Psalm 69:28 - May they be blotted out of the book of life and not be listed with the righteous.
Psalm 109:9 - May his children be fatherless and his wife a widow.
Psalm 137:9 - How blessed will be the one who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.

I don't hate him for personal reasons I hate him because he hates God

You disregard the entire verse from Matthew in which we have Jesus speaking and telling us that the old ways of hating our enemies is past and that we should love for and pray for our enemies. Everything you quote is OT. Jesus told us in the NT that we should love our enemies.

The OT is still valid, I am not just a NT Christian I accept the whole council of God. The OT is still valid, you might as well stop here because you will not change my mind, lest ye not forget Christ also used imprecatory prays:

Then Jesus began to denounce the towns where he had done so many of his miracles, because they hadn’t repented of their sins and turned to God. 21 “What sorrow awaits you, Korazin and Bethsaida! For if the miracles I did in you had been done in wicked Tyre and Sidon, their people would have repented of their sins long ago, clothing themselves in burlap and throwing ashes on their heads to show their remorse. 22 I tell you, Tyre and Sidon will be better off on judgment day than you. 23 “And you people of Capernaum, will you be honored in heaven? No, you will go down to the place of the dead. For if the miracles I did for you had been done in wicked Sodom, it would still be here today. 24 I tell you, even Sodom will be better off on judgment day than you.”

You will not change my mind and I will not change yours anything further is a waste of time.

Hating another human being is not justified in the Bible. I thought George Bush was the worst president we've ever had but I never said I hated him. However, I didn't come up to Christ's command when He said love your enemies.

What makes you say that? Onlybygrace has posted in other BB forums for awhile now - not often, but she (I think it's she) has been posting.
