    Well said S/N. If the democrats have a Senator with the fortitude of Goldwater it may be Ron Wyden of Oregon who replaced Senator Packwood. As a Representative I considered Wyden a far left person. Since his election as Senator he has on numerous occasions acted in the best interests of the country. He joined Senator Paul in pushing for a response from the White House on the drone issue, even helped out a little in the filibuster!

    Obama will ignore and hide anything and every evil he has done. Those who support him in his endeavors are participants in one of the most evil administrations ever to hold national office.

    One of the things that make me hopeful about Rand Pauls future is that I sense that this man is an honest man with a backbone and a set of standards, unlike some of his Senate colleagues from the same state.

    What little I know of RP impresses me, BUT(!!!!!), if he is as you say, then the "big boys" of the GOP (along with the MSM) will see to it that he never has the opportunity to show his stuff in any position of REAL power. Only Divine intervention will accomplish this.
