Sri Lanka Missionaries?

Does anyone know this country very well? I know there is much turmoil here and that Christians are not wanted and even persecuted here regularly.

I am giving a report on this country and our missionaries that are there next Wed night but with all of the stuff going on over there it is very hard getting any solid information from them due to security and such.

If anyone has any experience and knowledge from over there I would truly appreciate it.
