SS may increase by about 3 %

    Salty... I don't know I'm still thinking it over... With the rise in SS is fine but then Medicare takes it away... So am I missing something here?... There are always pros and cons... So is it really good news?... Convince me otherwise... Brother Glen:)

    Medicaid does not take the entire raise -....

    But what gets me - is that I get all my medical at the VA - and they still take out from my SS

    It looks to me like they are robbing Peter to pay Paul... Government is still taking from Government, which are penalizing us the people... Forget Government of the people, by the people and for the people... That's their payback for you and I and others serving our country?... Interesting that you put this in Money Talks$ and I will keep it clean but you know what walks!... Brother Glen:)

    Btw... I was thinking of going to the VA for medical but you changed my mind, I'll stay where I'm at... They can keep their greedy hands off my SS!

    For this year when Social Security was increased, Medicare went down.

    Going to the VA does NOT take any extra money out due to Social Security, ect

    What I like is that all doctors, medical, ect is all under one roof - one set of records
    The only thing I do not have is dental
