A couple of year's ago and last year I was posting my daily tennis scores of the high school team I coach, you might remember we were really bad and we were working hard to improve, last year we got out first win in years.
Well today Chariton High School s Tennis won it's first Conference Title ever. From Winless to Champs in 3 years! I am soooo juiced! (figuretively)

Congratulations, Mark!! It is amazing what can happen when the players are dedicated and willing to put in the extra time and effort to improve. Hopefully the younger kids will see their success and be willing to work just as hard to keep the team winning for years to come.

It also helps that they have a coach that is a great role model and positive influence. I am very happy and excited for you and your team, Mark! [IMG] [IMG]

Mark, that is awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations, I know you and the team have worked hard. I am great friend of High School sports, and love to see them do well. My wife was a big tennis player in High School, I was more into baseball and basketball, but always glad to hear about good things in High School sports! [IMG]

That's great!I can imagine what the team members must feel like too.

Teams are not built instantly, but by one stroke at a time with the team working together. Certainly you have encouraged that.

I played tennis in high school and now my daughter will play this next year. Tennis is a great sport.

It's always great to hear of coaches that are dedicated Christians. The world needs examples like that.

I did a search and noticed that the school supports tennis enough to resurface the courts. That's great.
